von Ruby Choi 08 Aug 2024 0 Kommentare

The Coospo CS300 bike computer is designed for all types of cyclists, catering to both beginners and professional riders alike. It is designed to be affordable and easy to use while still providing important cycling data. This makes it a practical and accessible option.

Basic Knowledge of RealRoad CS300

Why RealRoad?

The CS300 is the first bike computer in the REALROAD series. But why is it called REALROAD? The name stands for real road or right road. We hope that Coospo users, by using our bike computer and the accurate data it provides, can find their own ideal cycling or training path. On their cycling journey, users can pursue and achieve their personal goals, which also reflects the value of Coospo's products.

In the past, Coospo bike computers were all designated with the prefix BC, representing bike computer. With the introduction of the CS300 series, the prefix CS is utilized, symbolizing Coospo. This strategic adjustment is expected to enhance our brand visibility and resonance with users.

Whats new?

Hardware

Lightweight and Compact Design

CS300 bike computer has a new look. We’ve put a lot of thought into it and used a special eco-friendly material called sugarcane pulp for the packaging insert. It’s biodegradable and super good for the planet. We did this because we want to do our part in protecting the environment.

The CS300 is both lightweight and compact, making installation a breeze. Featuring three buttons, it boasts an impressive battery life of over 40 hours on just a two-hour charge. With its waterproof and freeze-proof design, it's ready to tackle any weather condition.

Enhanced Screen Display

Coospo CS300 on the bike

The Coospo CS300 is like a better version of the BC107 bike computer. It still has a screen made of separate sections, but now the screen is bigger, almost 20% larger. This means you can see your cycling stats more clearly, which is great, especially for older folks who love biking.

Positioning System and Bluetooth Sensor Connection

CS300 bike computer just got an upgrade in its positioning system, now supporting GPS, BDS, and Japan's QZSS. This means more accurate positioning for our friends in Japan. Also, you know how the BC107 only supported ANT+ connectivity, which wasn't very convenient? So, when developing the CS300, we listened to your feedback and added Bluetooth sensor connectivity. Now it's super easy.

Other Accessories

We've even upgraded the mount! The new round mount is more slip-resistant and easier to install. You'll feel it's more comfortable and ergonomic. And we've switched to a Type-C charging port. This means one less cable to carry on your long rides, making it both convenient and eco-friendly. Plus, it comes with an anti-loss rope, ensuring it stays securely in place even during the rough rides. This makes it perfect for anyone who needs a tough and reliable bike computer.

Customizable Data Display

Coospo CS300 Customizable Data Display

The CS300 can show lots of different cycling stats (over 40 types), and you can even choose which ones you want to see the most. For example, if you care most about your cadence (how fast you pedal), you can set it to show up on the second page (you can have up to 5 pages). This way, you can focus on what matters most to you while you ride.

Smart Automatic Features

Many people don't want to mess with their bike computer while riding; they'd rather keep their hands on the handlebars and focus on the ride. The CS300 makes this easy with its smart automatic features.

Auto Backlight: it adjusts the backlight automatically based on your time zone.

Auto Alert: It also gives you reminders when your heart rate or cadence reaches your chosen levels.

Auto Start and Pause: You can even set it to pause or start automatically when you reach a certain speed.

Auto Pages/Lap: Plus, it has features like automatic page turning and lap counting, which you can turn on or off in the CoospoRide app.

Auto Sleep: You will never need to power off the bike computer, because the battery consuming at sleep mode is same as it powers off.

Dynamic Zone Chart

The CS300 has a standout feature called dynamic interval display. It uses a simple 'C' shaped icon to make all your riding data like speed, heart rate, power, and cadence super easy to read at a glance.

Imagine you're biking and want to know your current speed zone. This feature can help you out. When your speed increases, more segments of the 'C' light up; if your speed drops, fewer segments light up, nudging you to pick up the pace.

So this feature is really useful for anyone who loves cycling and wants to improve their training. It not only helps you monitor your performance in real-time but also gives you a more professional feeling and specific targets during your workouts.

Plus, it's super easy to use and understand at a glance. Next time go cycling and give it a try. It'll definitely help you better understand your training.

What are the main differences between CS300 and BC107?

Coospo CS300 and Coospo BC107

Bigger Screen: First off, the BC300 has a bigger and clearer screen. Its display is about 20% larger than the BC107, and you can definitely tell that the CS300 screen looks brighter and clearer, making the data easy to read.

Longer Battery Life: Then there's the battery life. The BC107 lasts around 28 hours, but the CS300 has an upgraded 1000mAh battery that boosts the battery life to 40 hours. This is great news for those of us who love long-distance rides.

Customizable Pages: Another cool feature is that you can customize the CS300's display pages according to your preferences, something the BC107 doesn't allow. The BC107's screen had fixed data positions, which could be inconvenient at times. Now, the CS300 lets you adjust how the data is displayed to suit your needs.

Smarter with CoospoRide: Take some time to learn how to set CS300 on your smartphone, you will get a smarter CS300, extremely easy to use and more functions for a better cycling experience.

Indoor GPS Off: Lastly, the CS300 has a very practical update: indoor cycling mode. The BC107 can't turn off the GPS, so it's not ideal for indoor training. But the CS300 has solved this issue, allowing you to enjoy indoor rides without the GPS constraint.

The CS300 has made improvements in many areas, making it much smarter than the BC107. It feels more user-friendly and practical overall.

What are the main differences between CS300 and CS500?

Hardware:

Appearance: The CS300 and CS500 are about the same size, but the CS500 has six buttons, twice as many as the CS300, offering a richer interactive experience. In terms of battery life, the CS300 lasts about 40 hours, while the CS500 extends to 45 hours, both suitable for long-distance rides.

Screen: The CS300 has a segmented screen, which means the displayed content is fixed and cannot be changed, showing fewer types of data. The CS500 has a dot-matrix screen, allowing firmware updates to change or add display content, and it can show more types of data.

Positioning System: The CS300 is equipped with GPS, BDS, and QZSS, while the CS500 adds GLONASS and GALILEO for more precise global positioning. Users can choose the best navigation combination based on their riding environment.

Software:

Navigation: Although the CS300 lacks the turn-by-turn navigation of the CS500, it is still a good choice for riders who frequently travel familiar routes.

Display: The CS500 can display a wider variety and greater quantity of data, especially useful for professional riders. The CS300 can show up to 5 pages of data, with 5-6 items per page, while the CS500 offers up to 9 pages, with 1 to 7 items per page, showcasing its professional capabilities.

Sensor Connectivity: Besides supporting speed, cadence, heart rate, and power meters like the CS300, the CS500 also supports additional advanced sensors, such as bike radar, smart trainers, and electronic shifting systems.

Smart Notifications: Another highlight of the CS500 is its ability to display message alerts during rides, ensuring users don’t miss any important information.

Language Support: The CS300 currently supports only English, while the CS500 offers multiple languages including English, Russian, Korean, Dutch, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, making it more accessible to users worldwide.

Conclusion

Smart technology is the trend in bike computer production, and many cyclists are looking for a device that is both intelligent and user-friendly. While the Coospo CS300 may require some time to learn, mastering it will empower you to take full control of your cycling experience. As you become familiar with its features, you'll likely find yourself increasingly reliant on this bike computer due to the exceptional convenience and performance enhancements it provides.
