I love the heart rate monitor and the ease of recharging it. However, the strap has stopped working and it’s not even two months old. I have tried different straps and the monitor works on them, so it has to be the strap that has failed.
I bought this to replace a Garmin HRM which had failed after about six months. The H9Z bests the Garmin hands down: it is rechargeable rather than requiring batteries which means you do not have to open it up. It gives both visual and audible indication of when it is available and also when it has linked to a cycle computer or running watch. It is also compatible with the Garmin chest strap, which I prefer to the supplied item. Oh, and it is also significantly cheaper than the Garmin.
I love that its rechargeable, comfortable and the led indicator and the heart tool app. I wish their app would communicate with Google fit app though.
My only feedback is that the beep is so faint, you can barely hear it. I use this when I'm boxing Aunt. It's under my shirt but even when I don't wear a shirt it's still hard to hear. I wish the beep was louder so I could hear it as I'm working out. If they are able to fix this, I would rate this five stars and it would be my favorite monitor, especially for the price.
I am very satisfied with this product.
Especially the battery live and the blinking light which shows in which zone you are.
One contra is the App: It takes sometimes too much time to recognize the heartrate monitor.
One cool thing more would be that we could set the zones manually. I think it is hardcoded at the moment.
Truly, it is the best derision for hrm, no more batteries, the accuracy is fantastic, definitely worth its costs. I also have had wahoo and Garmin sensors, this one is better for sure.
